Avocado Tuna Salad: Eating well-feeling good

Eating well ist he first step to be healthly, feel good and look good. Today we present you an easy recipe mixing two of the most delicious and good tasting flavors (at least for me): Tuna and Avocado. Avocado is a type of fruit high in healthly fats, incredible nutritious, known for its faculty to lower cholesterol and triglycerides levels. On the other hand, Tuna, is an excellent source of protein and among ist benefits help prevent high blood pressure thanks to the Omega 3 and improving the inmune system as its a great source of selenium (antioxidant). So, lets mix them up!

Ingredients

  • 4 Avocados (halved and pitted)
  • 3 Cans of tuna
  • 1 Red bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 Jalapeño (minced)
  • 1 Cup cilantro leaves (chopped)
  • 1 Lime juice
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Scoop out some avocado from the pitted area and place it into a medium size mixing bowl
  2. Mash the scooped avocado with a fork
  3. Add the tuna, jalapeño, cilantro and bell pepper to the bowl
  4. Pour lime juice all over
  5. Stir them all together until everything is well mixed
  6. Scoop the mix into the avocado bowls
